Over many years we have tried numerous Veterinary Hospitals. About 18 years ago we were introduced to Dr. Kenneth Simmons. His hospital was located less then 5 miles from our home. Lake Worth area. We have been with Dr.Ken Simmons, Dr.Dawn Aberwald and the other Veterinarians at Dr. Simmons animal hospital since.
Ten years ago we moved to Jupiter Farms....45 miles from the hospital. We now have an hour trip to get to the kids Dr.'s.. Funny thing is, we changed all of our doctors, but stayed with the kids (Tzu) Dr's.
Now, 10 hard years later...it was becoming more difficult for us (Bernie) to run to Dr Aberwald D.V.M. at Simmons animal hospital.
A good friend of mine, also a ShihTzu breeder, lives North of Jupiter Farms, suggested we try her Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Nathan Gimbal at Morningside Animal Hospital, in Port St. Lucie. We did. Bernie took one of the girls there and I was home as usual. Still difficult for me to travel. While Dr Nathan Gimbal was examining one of the girls, Dr. Gimbal was on the phone with me as well as Bernie. After the exam, Dr. Gimbal spoke to me at length, never tried to rush me. Answered all my questions. A few weeks later Bernie took one of the other kids to see Dr. Gimbal, once again our Tzu could not have been treated better. Bernie was very pleased as was I with the care, knowledge and experience our Tzu, kids were treated.
We suggested that one of our clients call Dr Gimbal at Morningside Animal Hospital, when she was ready to have her female spayed. She also was very pleased and satisfied with the services her baby received, at Morningside.
We are by far, not the easiest clients for any Vet to deal with.....ESPECIALLY ME..... When it comes to the ShihTzu we know too much. But we are thrilled. Now, in our opinions we not only have the best Vets South of us but we now have the best Vets for our ShihTzu, North of us also.
So,now we know, be it North or South, of us.... we can recommend a top Vet for our Shih Tzu clients. The puppies we place are going to get the best experienced, knowledgable, educated care for ShihTzu.
